Hatteras' ongoing commitment has been to build a superb yacht. The hull of the Hatteras 67 Cockpit Motoryacht is the proven modified-vee designed by the noted naval architect Jack Hargrave. The living quarters on this model are generous in appointments and space. The expansive salon measures 23' by 12', and includes a full helm station forward that enhances a feeling of openness. Discretely concealed in fine cabinetry is a pop-up television and wine chiller at the aft end of the salon. The helm station itself includes comfortable built-in helmsman and companion seats. From forward in the salon, there is easy passage to the flying bridge, or to the aft deck through the rear door. The extremely wide side decks are protected by hardtop and accessible through the wing doors from the aft deck or the port and starboard doors next to the helm. The aft deck is perfect for a small group, entertaining a large group, overseeing the activity in the cockpit or to simply have a cup of coffee while looking at the sunrise over the horizon. The aft deck has an aft bar counter and stools as well as a full wetbar. To access the aft deck from the all-fiberglass 8-foot-long cockpit, ascend the steps on the starboard side. This cockpit was the largest offered on a Hatteras cruising model and can facilitate dock access, swimming, fishing, even a small inflatable launch. The transom gate of large, sportfishing proportions adds to your on-the-water lifestyle.
The fully instrumented flybridge, with updated electronics, features twin helm seats and tip-out locker for desired electronics alongside the control station. Aft, the expansive bridge deck offers an open area for sun-and-fun activities. A U-shaped lounge area offers group seating and abundant storage space underneath. Aft on the flybridge is a new 1,500 lb davit capable of lifting and storing a tender on the chocks.
There's been special attention given to the lower deck layout and design with the three comfortable staterooms and ensuite heads, the convenient dinette and fully-equipped galley and storage room galore.
The sumptuous master stateroom, accessible from its own private aft stairs, offers very special appointments that you might expect in a hundred-foot yacht. Certainly, there's ample room for a king berth, two handcrafted dressers, drawered nightstands and cedar-lined wardrobe. The private master head has been updated to today's high standards.
The bow stateroom offers upper and lower full-length berths to starboard, and to port a full-hanging locker behind a full length mirror. Additional drawer space has been provided under each berth and in the built-in dresser. The bow stateroom head, with stall shower, has been placed for convenient day use as well.
The midship guest stateroom is equipped with a queen berth, and includes its own full-hanging locker with full-length mirror. The guest head, also with stall shower, is located off to the starboard side, adjacent to the laundry center with the stacked full size GE washer and dryer units.
An important part of live-aboard livability is centered around food preparation. In the galley, you'll find all the room you need for cuisine prep and all the necessary conveniences. The galley is equipped with an updated Fisher & Paykel French Door refrigerator/freezer, full-size KitchenAid dishwasher, full-size Whirlpool oven, LG microwave and Kenyon electric glass cooktop. A few steps away, the dinette offers soft, upholstered seating for four.
All of the reverse circulation air conditioners have been replaced in the past few years. To supply the power for all these appliances as well as the other electrical draws on this yacht, there's a pair of Onan 20.0 Kw generators as well as the twin 50 amp dockside power cables.
For those interested in access to the main engines, Detroit Diesel 12V71s (870 hp), you'll really appreciate the SINGLE engine room that is simply enormous. It makes the engines look small, with plenty of space to access all sides of the engines as well as over 6'6" headroom. The starboard engine was just rebuilt approximately 25 hours ago (5,447 total), including turbos and the port engine has 5,970 hours on the meter. The last major cruise was from Key West, Florida to Maryland in May 2025 prior to the rebuild and then on to Atlantic City, New Jersey. The Port engine has been checked and is reported to be running strong. This boat is ready for its next voyage.
